The product team has been shipping new features at an incredible rate this year, and August was no exception. Here's what we got up to over the last month:

Introducing the Partner Dashboard: Making it easy to manage multiple sites at once

We’re thrilled to announce our new Partner Dashboard! The Partner Dashboard was built for people who work with multiple creators and need a way to keep track of all the different Fourthwall sites they manage in a single place.

This tool is perfect for managers, agencies, product designers, and specialty manufacturing partners. Partners that creators might want to work with to help run their businesses.

Here are some of the cool things that can be done from the Partner Dashboard:

1. Creators can give their Partners permission to access their site, similar to how you'd invite new team members

2. Partners can see all the sites they have access to and how much access they have

3. Partners can view combined data from all the creators they are working with (that they have permission to access), including analytics, products, and more.

4. Partners can easily create new sites for creators they are working with

Support for printing transparency/fades on apparel

Printing transparency/fades on apparel is hard. The way top fashion brands and printing experts do it is through a process called halftones, where transparency is converted into tiny little dots that simulate transparency.

Our team worked hard on automating this process (which is traditionally a super manual process done in Photoshop) so you can upload artwork with transparency, gradients, and fades to all products on Fourthwall!

Let’s look at an example. Here’s an example of artwork you might want to print onto apparel:

And here’s how it looks after our system automatically converts the transparency to halftones for printing on apparel:

Pretty cool, right? Huge shout out to the Product Catalog Engineering team for solving this one!

Improved experience for adding new sections to your site

We’ve improved the experience of adding new sections to your pages with a dedicated window that categorizes the sections and includes short descriptions of each! It should be much easier to navigate than the old dropdown menu + unlocks us to keep adding new section options for you to customize your sites with!

Promotions to encourage your members to upgrade tiers

You can now create promo codes that give discounts to current members who upgrade their membership tier! This was one of the top requested features, and we can’t wait to see how it helps you grow your businesses.

Advanced tag filtering for memberships

For creators who have a lot of content, a single tag filter wasn’t enough for members to find what they were looking for. We now support a more advanced system under the “filter” menu where members can filter posts by multiple tags at once – making it easy to get to the perfect post.

Styling improvements for the memberships feed

Your members only area got a visual upgrade! We made the mobile view slightly more compact for a better viewing experience and implemented a more flexible default styling system that looks better for light themes.

New model photography on dozens of products

We added new model photography on dozens of products! Right now these are just in our product catalog, but soon they'll be available to put your designs on and use on your product pages. Here are a few of my favorites:

Those are just a few of the dozens of products that got new photos! Expect to see even more added over the coming months.

Expanding our open API and webhooks: Support for products and gifting

We’re continuing to invest in our open API and webhooks with the addition of support for products and gifting, which you can check out at https://docs.fourthwall.dev/.

And that's a wrap – what a month! We shipped some major new improvements and have a few more big releases coming up. Without giving away too much, you can expect some major experience improvements for your customers outside of the USA in the next month!
