Offering your designs on multiple products

Offering your designs on more than one product is a great way to help your customers find an option that’s right for them, whether that’s adding a sweatshirt option to your hoodie design, a women’s cut tee to your unisex tee listing, or offering your mug design on a tumbler.

We’ve made it easier than ever to add more options with a new step in the product design flow, which will automatically suggest a few complimentary options to your original product. Happy creating!

Tools to place your art in the perfect spot

To make it easier to place your art, we added new art placement tools in the product designer! You can now place your art in suggested locations by clicking the "..." on the toolbar that appears below your art when you select it and going to the new "Fit to area" section. This is especially useful for placing your art in complex position like the left chest of apparel!

New visual editing in our site designer

To make editing and customizing your site easier, we added new functionality to our site designer where you can simply hover over the part of your website you’d like to edit (in the preview) and an edit button will show up in the top left of the section you’re looking at! Let us know what you think and if you have any other thoughts on how we make building your site faster.

Over 1,000 new fonts added to our site designer

We just added over 1,000 fonts for you to use on your site (for free)! You can check them out in the typography section of your site designer

Theme installations are now way way faster

If you ever installed a new theme on your Fourthwall site, you might have noticed it used to take a longggggg time (about 2 minutes, on average). After a lot of work by our engineering team, we’re proud to announce we reduced the average theme installation time to just 8 seconds! That’s a staggering 93% improvement in install times.

Free accounts and tiers for memberships

You can now offer a free tier in your memberships and support free accounts! A free tier is a great way to introduce the concept of memberships to supporters who might not be ready to sign up for a monthly fee yet. You can post content to your free tier as well as show them previews of your paid-only content. You can read the full announcement blog here!

New homepage

We updated our homepage! Very proud of the way it came out. All credit to Kacper Będuch, our incredible head of design.

Better social sharing tools for membership posts

Your members can now share your members-only content on social platforms like Discord, X/Twitter, and Facebook! You'll find the new "Share" button next to every post, and videos posts will show the video thumbnail while images will show a blurred out version of the actual content. People seeing and clicking these shared posts will still have to become members to actually watch the video or view the images.

YouTube Partnership & Product Shelf improvements

We partnered with YouTube to make it easier than ever to show off your products on your YouTube channel! Check out the announcement video below for more details.

Mobile web improvements

We’ve also been working hard on improving the mobile web experience (if you're on your phone and use the browser to visit Fourthwall vs. our iOS or Android app). It used to be pretty rough as we focused most of our mobiel attention on our apps, but in the last month the team found time to make over 40 small improvements to the experience so it's useable for those of you who prefer not to use the app!
