Overall the Gildan 5000 feels sturdy, but not heavy. It's not as soft as some other shirts I've tried, but by no means is it uncomfortable. It's thick enough that the DTFx print (large image) came out nice, but still fairly lightweight if that's what you're looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for my own personal prints again.
