I think the end result of the hats looks a bit cheap. The thickness of the thread makes the graphics look too low-res in the end. A thinner thread may come out looking nicer. Also the distressed look, which I generally like in real life, looks kinda lame here. My hat has the same identical distress spots in the same location/size as the hat in the preview picture. I would fully expect some sort of randomization to exist on these.
The hat is great! The embroidery, not so much. One of the two colors is definitely off, with both looking fairly yellow. The logo uses Oatmeal Brown Ale (#784128, PMS 7567C), Double IPA Goldschläger (#f0a840, PMS 143C), and white. Both the front and back embroidery areas are quite small, much smaller than what's available from other sources and other hats here on Fourthwall. While I knew some details would be lost, the front one does capture most of the detail. The rear image, however, did not. The lines aren't straight, the letters aren't clear (even the larger ones), and barely legible (if at all). Too much detail has been lost, and it's not suitable for addition to my shop.
I LOVE the hat itself, but the phoenix logo above the strap did NOT have the orange outline as it was supposed to.
distressing is nice on this hat to switch it up from the classic dad hat
