Here's how Fourthwall uses AI, what happens to your data, and how to opt out.
Our stance on AI
Our mission is to make launching a brand as easy as having a good idea. We offer AI capabilities for those that wish to use it to take the busywork out of running a shop.
Two things will not change: we will never train AI on your work, and no AI is ever required to use Fourthwall.
We don't train on your art or your data
We never use your art, designs, shop data, or customer information to train any AI models.
Your data stays yours
We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or AI companies.We only use AI models from OpenAI and Anthropic, and we explicitly opt out of all training.

Nothing happens without your approval
When you ask an AI tool to take action on your shop, such as creating a promotion or updating a product listing, it shows you what it plans to do first. You review it, you approve it, then it runs.
Your work is yours
Your designs, your photos, and your brand belong to you. We do not use them to make products for anyone else.
Your conversations are saved until you delete them
We store your conversations so you can pick up where you left off, and you can delete them at any time. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy laws, so you can request deletion of your data at any point. Your shop data sits behind the same protections as the rest of your Fourthwall account.
Connecting Fourthwall to other AI tools
You can connect your shop to ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools through our plugin and MCP support, and manage your shop from wherever you work. You have to connect it yourself, and those tools can only access the data you grant them.
AI is always optional
You can opt out of AI in your account settings. Your shop works exactly the same with or without it.
